The hoverboard is coming! In a Youtube-video Lexus announced that their cool new board will be presented on August 5th. Unfortunately you won’t be able to ride it anywhere.

Ever since Mart McFly escaped hos nemesis in Back to the Future II the world has been longing for the hoverboard. Now it look like it will fly into existence thank to Lexus.

The company has been working on its hoverboard for about 18 months, and is soon ready to show it off. It still uncertain if the board will go to sale, and even if it does you won’t be able to use it in your regular skatepark.

Lexus Hoverboard only work on (or above) a metal surface. Still, it’s a cool step towards Robert Zemeckis future world.
