Drone-developer Parrot has a new version of the Bebop that’s faster and more durable.
The second version of Bebop doubles its flight time, and can now stay in the air for up to 25 minutes. It’s also a lot faster than its predecessor. Parrot’s new quadcopter can fly up to 37 miles per hour, compared to the original version’s 24 mph.
Bebop 2 still has a 14 megapixel camera with a fisheye lens, and 8 gigabyte of storage. It can be flown with your IOS or Android device, or with Parrot’s Skycontroller. If you use the controller you can also wear a VR headset and see through the eyes of the camera.
The quadcopter will cost you $550 or $800 if you buy it in a bundle along with the Skycontroller.
