Porsche and Audi unveils their “Tesla killers”

German auto-gigants Porsche and Audi have shown their contributions to the e-car market.

Audi’s e-tron Q6 (pictured above) is a 500 horsepower SUV that can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,6 seconds. Its battery will last for up to 500 km with a top speed of 210 km/h. The electric car was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show under the namne E-Tron Quattro, but will be released as Audi Q6 in 2018.

The e-SUV will also have support for wireless charging, which means the driver can park the car in the garage and it will get juice even if it’s not plugged in.

Porsche unveiled the concept car Mission E at the same show. The sedan that looks like Tesla’s Model S can also go for 500 km on one charge. It has 600 horsepowers and can do 0 to 100 under 3,5 seconds, and its top speed is 250 km/h. The car will only need 15 minutes of charging to be 80 percent powered.
